Don’t just take my word for it when I say this is by far, the best waterfalls I’ve seen in Luzon. Because it probably is.
The getting there can be challenging, but totally worth it.
As a rule of thumb, planning to enjoy a falls require trekking the road leading to it. It may take 20 minutes, an hour, or maybe 2.
And it is true that most things are enjoyed the most when hard-earned.
So on Sunday, Sept.8 2013, I revisited Ditumabo Falls in San Luis, Aurora, along with 6 of my very good friends.
I warned them about the trekking that it requires, to not wear expensive designer flops, and to wear a backpack if needed.
It took us about 20 minutes to the place, and some slips, broken Starbucks tumbler, wounds and some great pictures.
Reminders:
1. Tour Guide PhP 100
2. Entrance Fee: By Donation (2015 update: PhP 30 per head)
3. No bringing of food while in the trek. They’re trying to conserve it. (2015 update: I’ve seen people bring canned drinks)
4. Enjoy much!
Here, let the pictures do the talking:

worth all the wait! 🙂
worth the broken starbucks tumbler?
hi sir! just want to ask your permission to use your photographs and some of your statements regarding this place. I’m currently handling Lakbay Baler (travel and tours). I have experienced the falls myself and I know the beauty of it. I just want to show the people that I’m not the only one who enjoyed it. thank you! 🙂
Hi Emjay, as long as credits are provided to my blog site, we should be okay. you can also post the link to the actual blog if you like.
Can you tell me more about Lakbay Baler? Like you, I am in love with the place. =)
